Ballast Roof To Foam

This was a 20,000 square foot built up ballast roof on one of our local schools.  This twenty year old roof was at the end of its life cycle and was experiencing leaks around the internal drains, HVAC penetrations and along the seams of the outer perimeter.   Ballast was vacuumed off and the roof was power washed.  Ten sky lights were installed and then we applied 2 inches of closed cell polyurethane foam over the entire roof and parapet walls. The closed cell polyurethane foam was coated with 32 mils of silicone and granules.
