This is a 37 year old foam and silicone roof system that we installed on one of our local schools over 37 years ago.  In thirty seven years, this roof was never maintained with cleaning, re-coating or any repairs. 

 

This roof is a testament to how well a silicone and foam system works when properly installed.  What is even more amazing is that the silicone and foam products we use today are far superior than what we used on this roof thirty seven years ago.

To restore this roof we simply had to scarf off the top layer of the old coating, add another half inch of foam and re-coat with silicone.  Granules were added to the silicone.
